Buena Vista University has added another school district through its Strategic Partnership.
BVU has collaborated with Mason City Community School District. The new partnership allows for Mason City school employees and eligible full-time employees to receive grant funding to lower the overall cost of education while enrolled in classes at BVU’s Storm Lake Campus.
The Mason City School District has educational programs for over 3,300 students in grades PK-12. In addition to employing approximately 600 staff members, Mason City School District features Pinecrest Center for students with severe social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Mason City is home to North Iowa Area Community College, which has partnered with BVU for decades by allowing students to transfer credits to BVU in pursuit of their bachelor’s degree.
