Buena Vista County Emergency Management reminds residents that BV is among the counties approved for the State Individual Assistance Grant Program in response to weekend floods.
Those whose homes were damaged due to flooding can apply for up to five-thousand dollars in assistance with repairs or lost items. Applicants must be under 200 percent of the federal poverty level to qualify. The program is administered by Upper Des Moines Opportunity.
