A couple of Buena Vista County Naturalist programs are coming up.
The final Naturalist Lunch Box program of the year will be held this Friday, July 28th at noon along the south shore of Storm Lake. The topic will be fireflies. Contact the BV County Conservation office by Wednesday to sign up.
An afternoon of fun activities will be held next Tuesday, August 1st from 1 to 3pm at Gabrielson Park. The naturalist will be on sight with all the supplies needed for fishing, as well as different activities and games to play. Supplies will be available for a make and take-home craft, as well as snacks. Activities are free and designed for kids ages two to 12. Reservations are required by next Monday, July 31st. Participants will meet at the Gabrielson Shelter House.
