The play surface at the Awaysis Park playground near King’s Pointe will be closed starting this coming Monday, August 28th due to the replacement of the safety surface material.
The original surface of the playground has become worn in some areas after 16 years of use. According to a City of Storm Lake news release, the contractor anticipates that work on the project will be completed within two weeks.
