Several northwest Iowa residents were recently appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to various state boards and commissions.
Buena Vista University President Brian Lenzmeier and Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation President and CEO Shannon Landauer were both appointed to the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative. Others appointed to that Initiative include Danna Larson of Sac County, and Emily Williams of Pocahontas County.
Mary Lauver of Calhoun County was appointed to the District 2B Judicial Nomination Commission.
All of those appointments are NOT subject to Senate confirmation.
