“Annie’s Project” Program Offered in Holstein in January and February

Registrations are being accepted for a six-session agricultural business education program designed to empower farmwomen who want to be even more knowledgeable about their agricultural enterprises.

“Annie’s Project” is hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Farm Management Specialist Alexis Stevens as well as the Buena Vista, Cherokee, and Ida County Extension offices. “Annie’s Project” will be held from 1 to 4pm at the Cobblestone Inn in Holstein for six consecutive Mondays starting January 8th and finishing on February 12th.

Participants will learn effective strategies to make good decisions in the five key risk management areas including financial, human resources, legal, marketing, and production. Learning will be done in a hands-on, interactive discussion format.

Registration for the six sessions of “Annie’s Project” is 75 dollars, and includes several educational resources. Registration can be completed on the ISU Extension website. For assistance registering or to get more information, contact the Ida County Extension Office.
