Milford Man Forgery Arrest

A Milford man was arrested over the weekend on forgery charges.
Storm Lake police were notified on Saturday, that 39-year-old Charles Tewes of Milford was arrested in Bremer County, for two warrants from the Storm Lake Police.
On December 11th, police were called to Plumbing Wholesale in Storm Lake, for a report of a forgery. Tewes made an unauthorized charge of $495 worth of merchandise to another person. On December 18th, Storm Lake Police were called to Bomgaars, for another report of forgery. It was determined that Tewes had also made unauthorized charges of $781 there.
The Storm Lake warrants for Tewes are
ON-GOING CRIMINAL CONDUCT, CLASS “B” FELONY - -
FORGERY, A CLASS “D” FELONY - -
AND THEFT, AN AGGRAVATED MISDEMEANOR.
