Deputies attempted to stop the UTV, which was not displaying tail lights. Deputies eventually were able to stop the UTV by boxing it in.

The driver, 24-year-old Bodie Wood of Webb, was charged with operating while intoxicated...1st offense, eluding a peace officer, criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, trespassing, interference with official acts and multiple traffic violations.

A passenger on the UTV, 23-year-old Nicholas Samuelson of Spencer, was charged with interference with official acts.

Authorities say the incident remains under investigation and that additional charges are pending.
