Man Driving U-T-V Leads Clay County Authorities on Pursuit

Authorities say an investigation into a report of an underage drinking party early Saturday in Clay county resulted in a pursuit of a utility vehicle.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to 2424 480th Street near Webb and upon arriving saw a utility terrain vehicle leaving that location westbound. Deputies attempted to stop the UTV, which was not displaying tail lights. Deputies eventually were able to stop the UTV by boxing it in.
The driver, 24-year-old Bodie Wood of Webb, was charged with operating while intoxicated...1st offense, eluding a peace officer, criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, trespassing, interference with official acts and multiple traffic violations.
A passenger on the UTV, 23-year-old Nicholas Samuelson of Spencer, was charged with interference with official acts.
Authorities say the incident remains under investigation and that additional charges are pending.
