DNR Fishing Report
February 13, 2020 4:07pm
The ice is eight to 15 inches thick for Storm Lake and Little Storm Lake, according to the latest Iowa DNR Fishing Report.
Anglers are catching perch, crappie, walleye, and white bass.
At Black Hawk Lake, there is about 12 inches of ice off of the Ice House Point boat ramp. The winter aeration system in Town Bay is in operation, so expect open water and thin ice in Town Bay.
For more information, contact the Black Hawk Lake District Office at 712-657-2638. Listen to the DNR Fishing Report with Ben Wallace Saturday mornings shortly before 7am on KAYL and KKIA.
