Two Injured in Cherokee County Accident

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident shortly before 4pm on Monday in Cherokee County.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred on 580th Street near M Avenue. 60-year-old Kenneth Wolfgang of Marcus was driving westbound on 580th Street, when he swerved to miss a pheasant in the roadway. Wolfgang was stated that when he swerved, he hit a slick spot in the roadway, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
Kenneth Wolfgang and a passenger, 57-year-old Charlotte Wolfgang, both received minor injuries, and were transported to the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.
