Sioux Rapids Woman Arrested For Sexually Assaulting a Child

A Sioux Rapids woman has been arrested after Storm Lake Police took a report on September 21st that a minor had been sexually assaulted.
Police were advised that in late August or early September of this year, a 14-year-old male was allegedly sexually assaulted by 27-year-old Deisy Mora Tellez of Sioux Rapids at a residence in the 1000 block of East Milwaukee Avenue in Storm Lake.
Police conducted an investigation, and on Monday of this week, arrested Mora Tellez, and charged her with 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse, a class C felony. She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a 15-thousand dollar bond.
Storm Lake Police Investigators were assisted by the Sexual Assault Response Team and the Mercy Child Advocacy Center in Sioux City.
