Two Charged After Wanted Person Located

Two people received felony drug charges after Storm Lake Police early Sunday evening received information from the Fort Dodge Police Department that a wanted person may be in Storm Lake.
Police were advised that 35-year-old Blaine Stockwell of Fort Dodge, who was wanted out of Webster County on a warrant charging him with Parole Violation reference Voluntary Absence With No Bond, may be staying in a guest room at the Kings Pointe Resort.
Storm Lake Police Officers conducted an investigation and gathered information as to what room at the resort that Stockwell may be staying at. Police believed that Stockwell wasn’t currently in the guest room, but was still checked into the resort.
Storm Lake Police Officers conducted a surveillance on the resort guest room, and at approximately 10:00pm on Sunday, observed Stockwell approach the room with a female companion. Police moved in and took Stockwell into custody without incident and further detained the female companion, identified as 31-year-old Heidi Holston of Marathon.
Police allege that Stockwell had in his possession approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. It’s further alleged that Holston had in her possession drug paraphernalia.
Storm Lake Police obtained and executed a search warrant on Stockwell’s resort guest room later in the night, at which time they allege they located and further seized approximately 35 grams of marijuana packaged for sales, drug paraphernalia, ledgers indicating drug sales and approximately 46-hundred dollars in cash.
Following an investigation, Stockwell was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on the outstanding warrant, and was further charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine, a class B felony...Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver – Marijuana, a class D felony...Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a class D felony...and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was held on the outstanding warrant and an additional 35-thousand 300-dollar bond.
Holston was charged with Conspiracy With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a class B felony...Conspiracy With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Marijuana, a class D felony...and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. She was booked into the county jail on a 30-thousand 300-dollar bond.
