SLPD Tarin Arrest

An Alta man was arrested after on Storm Lake Police Officer stopped a vehicle after 10pm on Monday at the intersection of West 10th Street and Vestal Street for a traffic violation.
The Officer determined the driver, 21-year-old Roberto Tarin of Alta, had a driver’s license status of barred. Officers arrested Tarin and determined that he was in possession of marijuana. Tarin’s vehicle was impounded pending the application of a search warrant. Tarin was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on charges of Driving while License Barred, an aggravated misdemeanor...Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, a serious misdemeanor...and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Tarin was held on 33-hundred dollar bond.
On Tuesday evening, Officers executed a search warrant on the Tarin vehicle, and located additional drug paraphernalia.
