A boy has been charged for allegedly making a false 911 call last Friday in Storm Lake.
The Buena Vista County Communication Center last Friday received a phone call stating that three masked and armed individuals had entered the Storm Lake High School Football Stadium during that night's game. Storm Lake Police responded, and the call was deemed to be false in nature.
Following an investigation, Storm Lake Police yesterday charged an 11-year-old male of Storm Lake with Misuse of 911 False Report, a simple misdemeanor, in connection with the incident.
The juvenile was processed and released to school officials. The case has been forwarded to the Juvenile Court Authority.
