NW Iowans To State Boards And Commissions

Several northwest Iowans have been appointed to some state boards and commissions by Governor Kim Reynolds.
Rob Rozeboom of Sheldon was appointed to the Developmental Disabilities Council. The appointment is not subject to Senate confirmation. Julie Andres of Okoboji was appointed to the Racing and Gaming Commission. That appointment IS subject to Senate confirmation in the 2020 legislative session.
Two northwest Iowans were appointed to the Iowa’s Children’s Behavioral Health System Board. The board will facilitate the coordination of Iowa’s recently created Children’s Mental Health system, ensuring children will have access to the mental health services they need. Dan Cox of Sioux City and Melanie Cleveringa of Sioux Center were among the 12 appointments, which will require confirmation by the Iowa Senate.
