On the evening of Monday, July 15, 2019, at approximately 9:00pm, the Storm Lake Police Department responded to 709 Walnut Street in reference to locating a wanted person.
Upon arrival of police, they located and arrested Nyamauch Dak, age 18, of Storm Lake, who was wanted out of Buena Vista County on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court, reference Theft 5th Degree.
Dak was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $300.00 bond.
On the morning of Monday, July 15, 2019 at approximately 12:37am the Storm Lake Police Department was dispatched to 601D West 9th Street in reference to a window that had just been broken out.
Upon arrival of police they met with the reporting party who alleged that a Rebecca Yalle, age 21 of Storm Lake had just been at the apartment and engaged in a verbal argument with the occupants who had told Yalle to leave earlier in the day and she returned. After arguing with the occupants Yalle left again and shortly after her departure she broke out a window at the apartment.
Police located Yalle in the 700 block of West 9th Street and took her into custody.
Following an investigation the SLPD charged Yalle with Criminal Mischief 5th Degree and Criminal Trespass (both simple misdemeanors). She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $300.00 bond.
