Storm Lake Drug Arrest

A drug arrest was made after Storm Lake Police Tuesday investigated an item found at Casey's at 207 East Milwaukee.
Police spoke with witnesses who alleged an adult male had dropped a baggie containing a white crystal material. Police recovered the baggie and the contents tested positive for meth. Police identified the person who allegedly dropped the baggie as 55-year-old Anthony Davis of Newell.
Police met was Davis at the police station Tuesday afternoon, where he was charged with possession of meth, a serious misdemeanor. Davis was jailed on a one-thousand dollar bond.
Police were assisted by the Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office and the Newell Police Department.
