Sex Offender Registry Violation

A Peterson man was arrested Sunday night for allegedly violating sex offender registry requirements.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Vincent Duran was taken into custody after it was discovered he allegedly failed to update relevant information during the month of May. Duran was charged with a sex offender verification violation, second or subsequent offense, a class “D” felony. He was jailed on a five-thousand dollar bond.
Duran was convicted of molestation of a child in Arizona in 2002.
