The 125th anniversary of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early will be commemorated next month.
Several events are planned for Sunday, August 4th. A mass will be held at 1pm that day. Clergy who have served the parish are invited to join Father Brent Lingle in celebrating the mass for the special occasion. Following the mass, refreshments will be served in the parish center. Sisters and Strings Infusion of Kansas City will provide music during that time from 2 to 4:30pm.
Narrated cemetery tours will begin at 2:30 that afternoon, weather permitting. Those who choose to participate in the tour will learn about the forefathers of the parish. A trolley will be available to transport guests to and from the cemetery.
