The “100 People Who Care Sac County” group will meet in person on Sunday, October 13th at 4pm at the Early United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
All Sac County residents are welcome to join “100 People Who Care” and are invited to learn more about the philanthropic work of the organization, which launched in October of 2016.
The mission of “100 People Who Care Sac County” is to award donations to a charity or non-profit serving Sac County. Members nominate possible recipients, and three are chosen at random to make a presentation to the group. Each member or team commits to participating in “100 People Who Care Sac County” for one year, making 100-dollar donations to the charity or non-profit chosen by the group at the events held annually on the second Sundays of January, April, July, and October. Members can be individuals or teams, and there is one vote per 100-dollar donation. Three nominated charities/non-profits will make presentations on October 13th, then a vote of members will be taken with the highest vote-getter receiving members’/teams’ donations.
