Dutch oven cooking 101 is back for Summer 2025. The first class will be taught Friday, May 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at the South Shelter Area of Buena Vista County Conservation Park. Naturalist Katie will present the basics of Dutch oven cooking, including ovens, supplies, recipes, and more.
There will be no need to plan supper that night. The meal for the evening will be: lasagna, cheesy bread, and dessert. This event is free of charge.
Registration is required for this program by Tuesday, May 20th at 4:00 PM. To RSVP contact the conservation office at 712-295-7985.
