CommUNITY Book Club at Storm Lake Public Library meets one Thursday each month at 7:00 PM to discuss fiction and non-fiction books. November’s pick is “The Portrait of a Lady” by Henry James. The novel tells the tale of Isabel Archer, a beautiful, spirited American, brought to Europe by her wealthy aunt with the expectation of finding a husband. Isabel, however, is resolved to determine her own fate.
